About the role
We are hiring an AWS Network Engineer for a contract engagement based in Pune, working an evening shift (2 PM – 11:30 PM IST). You will design, implement and support AWS network architecture — VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53 and Network Load Balancers — and manage routing protocols including BGP, OSPF and MPLS.
You will also own network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, security groups and NACLs), support hybrid on-prem/AWS connectivity, and automate network provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, Python and Git. Contract JC 201186.
Must-have skills
- AWS Networking: VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53, Network Load Balancers
- Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS
- Network security: Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, Security Groups, NACLs
- Network automation: Terraform, Ansible, Python, Git
Good to have
- Hybrid on-prem/AWS connectivity experience; L3 troubleshooting and incident support
